He is a researcher at Center for Computing Research of the National Polytechnic Institute, Mexico D.F., Mexico. He made a postdoctoral position in the National Institute for Astrophysics, Optical and Electronics researches (INAOE), Puebla, Mexico. He received his Sc. D. in Computational Sciences from the Center for Computing Research of the National Polytechnic Institute. His research interests include: ecological assessment and modeling, signal processing, analog and virtual instrumentation, fuzzy logic, artificial neural networks and prototype selection. Currently, he is a member of the National System of Researchers of CONACyT, Mexico.
