PhD in Technical Sciences for the Technological University of Havana (Higher Polytechnic Institute Jose Antonio Echeverria, Cuba, 1998. Professor-Researcher of the Center for Computing Research of the National Polytechnic Institute, Mexico City, since 2000. National Researcher at Level 3 (highest) of the National System of Researchers (SNII) of Mexico. His research interests include artificial intelligence with applications, expert systems, biomechanical analysis, Parkinson disease, environmental noise indicators and acoustic indexes for urban spaces, as well as the harmful health effects of environmental noise, measurement and monitoring systems, virtual instrumentation, signal pattern recognition, and intelligent systems for automation.
